MRI Technologist / Application Engineer

To expand our technical team, we are currently looking for an enthusiastic and experienced MRI Technologist. This person will help with the implementation of a large multicenter study in the Netherlands. Also, he/she will play a leading role in the staged commercial roll-out of our CE-certified CARTBox product. CARTBox is used for patient-specific planning and guidance of advanced pacemaker implantations (CRTs). CARTBox has already shown to increase the therapeutic effect of pacemakers and will also improve the quality of life of heart failure patients.

Your responsibilities:

  • Train hospital staff in recording good quality MRI’s
  • Asist with the adaptation of the workflow in hospitals to facilitate the implementation of CARTBox, with cloud connectivity
  • Assist with the placement of CRTs in cardiac electrophysiology clinics
  • Participate in design, implementation and maintenance of CARTBox
  • Write user manuals

Your skills and qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in computer science, medical physics, biomedical engineering, or a related discipline
  • Senior-level imaging technologist or application engineer with 2+ years of experience either in a hospital or at one of the CRT device companies
  • Strong analytic skills and a passion for solving complex problems quickly

Preferred skills and qualifications:

  • Experience with ISO 13485 and IEC 62304 standards for medical device and medical software development and lifecycle management
  • Experience with medical imaging (X-Ray, MRI, CT) and image post processing
  • Experience with implementing web-based solutions, cloud computing
  • Experience with integrations with third-party solutions (hospital IT systems)
  • Affinity with 3D rendering and visualization pipelines
  • Affinity with new developments in artificial intelligence
  • Affinity with cardiac electrophysiology interventions
